I thought we were tested today in the aspect of a team placing 10 men behind the ball. The players were always comfortable and when Lennon and Rooney came on an injection of pace and believe up front opened the game up, apart from that 5 min spell before Crouch scored we were solid at the back. We have came through this test and i am sure we will have to do it again in this tournament sometime. Trinadad & Tobago will have not qualified with 3 draws and that is what they were trying to do. Sweden couldn't break them and i think their Paraguay game will end in a draw also. We came through it now

i totally agree with you colin, but i was surprised with svens substitutions because he actually made attacking substitutions and all 3 of the subs, ronney with his presence, and lennon and downing attackind down both wings . made us look like more of an attacking threat. anyway at the moment pickin up the 3 points is all that counts and hopefully as the tournament progresses we will get better and better !! cum on england !! footballs cummin hone !!
