What is Fantasy FA Cup?

An online football predictions game based on matches in the FA Cup from the third round onwards. The better your predictions, the more points you score and the higher you rise up the leaderboard. While there are prizes, most people take part for fun, to beat their friends and prove their footballing knowledge! Entry is free.

What is the FA Cup?

A knockout football (soccer) tournament for English clubs. More information.

Is it really free to play?

Yes. All the money for administration costs and prizes comes from advertising.

Why are there adverts on the site?

Running the competition costs money: domain names, hosting, bandwidth; not forgetting the cost of trophies and other prizes. Since Fantasy FA Cup will always remain free to enter, the easiest way to pay for this is via advertising. 25% of all advertising revenue is donated to Bridges to Belarus, a charity helping orphaned children in areas of Belarus badly affected by the Chernobyl disaster.

Please contact us if you'd like to run an advert on fantasyfacup.com. Rates for text ads on this high PageRank site are extremely affordable, starting from USD20 per link per month. You are free to choose any link text and URL, and payment can be made by Paypal.

Do you participate in link exchanges?

Usually we won't participate in link exchanges for commercial sites. If you'd like us to link to you, please consider buying a text link.

I can't sign up!

Please contact us and we'll try to sort it out.

Why do you need my email address?

It's the only way we have to contact you about what's new on the site; and to contact you if you win a prize. Your email address is never visible to other entrants and is never given out to third parties.

I don't want to tell people my name/email address

No one will ever see your email address unless you use the "email a friend" feature. You can choose a pseudonym if you want, and you can change your details at any time.

How does the scoring system work?

For each match that takes place, you score a set number of points (3 in the third round) if you get the score exactly correct. If you get the score wrong, but the result right (correctly predict which team will win, or corerctly predict that the first match will end in a draw), then you win a smaller number of points (1 in the third round). These points don't add - the maximum per match is three points for the third round.

It's lost my predictions!

Try pressing the back button to retrieve your predictions. It's best to keep a printout of your predictions if you're worried!

Why do some teams appear several times?

Because there are still some replays to be played, there may be two or even four possibilities for matches in the next round. Enter results for each match, only the one that is played will be counted.

What about replays?

They are ignored. It's the score in the first match that matters.
