| Keogh lifts
the Cup Ryan Keogh is this year's winner of Fantasy FA Cup after picking up a maximum 16 points in the final. Not only did Ryan, a loyal Arsenal supporter, predict the score exactly correctly, but he also pefectly predicted the first goal to be in the 23rd minute! Ryan (see picture, right) was presented with the trophy and a £5 cinema voucher.
There was disappointment for Andrew Taylor and Mr Hopkins, who both came close, as well as Stephen Playford, the eventual runner-up. Adam Dunn and Daniel Bristow also predicted the correct score-line, but they could only make it into 10th and 12th places respectively. Meanwhile, at the foot of the table, Andrew Bunday finished 13 points adrift, earning him the official wooden spoon. The picture (below), speaks for itself!

down Magpies Arsenal 2 Arsenal completed the League and Cup double for the second time in their history by beating Newcastle in the climax of another exciting season. Marc Overmars opened the scoring for the Gunners in the 23rd minute after picking up a pass from Petit. Newcastle went close on several occasions, including a fierce drive from Alan Shearer which just hit the post. Arsenal completed their victory when Nicolas Anelka drove one home mid-way through the second half. An excellent season for Arsenal and we can expect great things from them in Europe next year. |
